Picture Insect - Insect Id Pro is a tool that lets users identify any insects they see just by taking a photo and uploading it to the platform.

Despite the large amount of content that Picture Insect - Insect Id Pro offers, it isn't that complicated to use. There are various buttons on the start screen: the home and camera buttons, that take you to the insect identifier just by tapping them. From there, you can use your device's camera to take a photo of the insect and let the tool work its magic. Then, there are other buttons that let you see the insects uploaded by other users. From the map, you can see all the insects that have been registered in your area and, from the 'users' tab, you can find other insects that have been recorded from the app.

When you take a photo of an insect and the app identifies it, two things can happen: either the app successfully identifies the insect and tells you exactly what kind it is (along with images), or it will get you to choose between various options. When you tap on the insect's name, you are taken to a file that includes information such as its scientific name, the areas where it can be found, whether it is venomous or not, etc.
